Specifying Headers and Footers

The Page Setup dialog box enables you to specify the contents of headers and footers by using

a combination of words and symbols. Table 4-1 lists the (case sensitive) variables that you use

to print the date or time, page numbers, Window titles, or page addresses on headers or foot-

ers on your printed pages. For example, if you wanted to print the page number and the total

number of pages on the footer of a document, you would specify Page &p of &P.
