When you click this icon, a dialog box opens. It requires you to select an administrator account

and to enter the corresponding password—or insert a smart card and enter a personal identity

number (PIN)—in order to complete the selected task. Figure 5-2 shows this dialog box.

If, on the other hand, you logged on as an administrator, clicking the shield icon results (by

default) in the dialog box shown in Figure 5-3. You are not required to reenter your credentials

but instead to click Continue.
